#1196 Since downloading new FFDEC, whenever I try to play a SWF by pressing the RUN icon, it says that the path for the projector cannot be found and says to configure a path in the Advanced Settings. Can anyone help me with this?

> What steps will reproduce the problem? Opening a SWF Shell and selecting the Run (play) icon does not play shell. > What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Instead there is an error message telling me that the Flash Player Projector Path is not found and to configure in the Advanced Settings. > What version of the product are you using? Is it "nightly build"? Which operating system do you have? I am using the newest FFDEC v8.0.1 > Please provide any additional information below. If the problem is related to a SWF file, attach it here, otherwise we can't help you. Thank you. I need to remove a button from an old flash module and then re-save the SWF.
"I need to remove a button from an old flash module and then re-save the SWF. " In this case why do you want to start the swf with the play button? Just remove the button tag you want, and save the SWF. Running and debugging is not needed for this.

Well I might be approaching this incorrectly. I have SWF files that will play when I open them normally, but are not playing when I email them, or when I open them in FFDEC. Likewise, there are elements that I cannot see when I open with the decompiler, so I am wondering if there are components of this original presentation that are getting lost.
Please attach your swf and attach a screenshot of the element that you can't see in ffdec.
You find your local Flash Player/Flash Debugger Right click it and Select Properties.. Its most likely a shortcut so copy the target Address , go to FFDEC and go to your settings, Select Advanced Settings then choose the 'Paths' Tab and paste your Copied Link into the 'Flash Player Projector Path' Textbox and save your changes.. it should work now..
