+ update 2020: WARNING - support of the decompiler is now VERY LIMITED. There are no active developers. This means we will NOT develop new features and/or fix most of bugs. We left the tracker running in case somebody from community would like to work on it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

#1539 Saving a SWF is bugged
Author: user AlienDrew
Date created:
Type: bug
Visibility: Everybody
Assigned to:
State: new Help

> What steps will reproduce the problem? Save any file edited, or not, to any location on your device. And then try to use another application on it, like Swivel or an online SWF to Video converter. > What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Those applications/websites should work with the flash file (as it works with the source), but it instead doesn't, fails, and says something about being invalid file for SWF. > What version of the product are you using? Is it "nightly build"? Which operating system do you have? Using the latest release 11.2.0 (from 2018) on Windows 10. > Please provide any additional information below. If the problem is related to a SWF file, attach it here, otherwise we can't help you. This problem is non specific to any SWF, as the problem will show up for any SWF file. I don't think it matters, but most of the SWF files I'm trying to use are programmed with AS3.
