In Edit ActionScript tab, I press anywhere and the cursor is about 2 characters off to
where the mouse is, I can make this better or worst by changing the font family/ size.

Cursor should adjust to font family/ size so the cursor popup where the mouse is.

This might depend on actual SWF file.
Please attach sample SWF file where this happens, on which script.
When I used the "old text" option, it fixed the issue mostly, the game is Monster Den
Godfall, It's being sold on Steam (highly recommended btw) so I can't publish it here.
I changed this issue to be "developers only" so only FFDec developers (+you) will see it.
Is it okay to attach the SWF file in such case?
Because I am afraid I can't fix it without the sample SWF file and I also do not want to
pay 15 euro to get it from steam...

I understand but I don't think the developer would be happy about it... Monster den
chronicles which was released before Godfall was free on Kongergate, armor games etc and
very likely suffers from the same problems (Godfall is an extension to the same core
mechanics).
I tried to find it but didn't manage to, perhaps you would be more lucky, sorry for the
trouble...
