In darker interface skins like "twilight" where text is usually in white, the new variable
highlight feature contrasts greatly with the text and makes it hard to read. It'd be great
if there was a way to turn that feature off, a way to change the highlight color, or have
it changed for the darker themes.

This is fixed in version 24.0.1.
