Here are two simple suggestions:
Add an option to edit the text inside a text-type object directly in the "Simple Editor".
The "Simple Editor" doesn’t save the last frame of the SWF the user was on; it always
returns to the beginning of the SWF. For large files, this becomes inconvenient to use. It
would be nice if it saved the last frame the user was on (when exiting the "Simple
Editor").
In nightly 3227 you should be able to edit existing texts in "Simple Editor".
It is not a WYSIWYG editor, it's the same editor as in other Views.
Also the "Simple Editor" should save last frame / timeline it was on when switching Views
and/or exiting the program.
