> What steps will reproduce the problem? I downloaded both the Windows installer and the ZIP package. Same problem with both. Trying to install in Win11, the BitDefender antivirus blocks it claiming that \lib\ffdec_lib.jar is infected with Trojan.GenericKD.77441144 Since the file is moved to quarantine, the program cannot be run. > What is the expected output? What do you see instead? > What version of the product are you using? Is it "nightly build"? Which operating system do you have? Current latest version 24.1.0 under Windows11 > Please provide any additional information below. If the problem is related to a SWF file, attach it here, otherwise we can't help you. Thanks for any hints.
First make sure you download it from official webpage - https://github.com/jindrapetrik/jpexs-decompiler (Releases section). Some of the Antivirus softwares unfortunately mark our decompiler as malware. It is false positive. See this page for list of AV software and which marks it okay. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/a86dc33a568e31cbcf40af10b2380baec9d237d282dc198b5aec30 f8227b5929 On that page, only 6 out of 72 marked it as harmful. See issues marked VirusTotal in the issue tracker where I explain the problems: /www.free-decompiler.com/flash/issues/?filter=1&labels[]=85

Which BitDefender product do you use? I can fill false positive report on their webpages, but they require product name (see attachment)
oh, it looks like I need a different form - this one was for bussiness. I don't need a product name now. I will report the false positive...
Okay, I reported the zipped version as false positive. They responded with automatic email: "If the file is indeed a False Positive, the detection will be removed within the next 72 hours and implemented in the product through a Signature Update. " So we need to wait now...
Much appreciated. BTW, it is BitDefender Antivirus Free
It seems that the version 24.1.0 is no longer marked malicious with BitDefender: Zipped version: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/a86dc33a568e31cbcf40af10b2380baec9d237d282dc198b5aec30 f8227b5929/detection Windows Setup EXE: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/0a0139182216fb2ffdb05bd9798c8aba7e3ce215038b3491216b0b 05061378dc/detection Make sure you update your BitDefender definitions. It seems that the Setup EXE is still marked by Microsoft Defender / SmartScreen, I reported it too.
Wonderful! I updated BitDefender today and the problem is gone installing the zip package. Many thanks for your support.
