Would it be possible to export sprites without exporting/importing the actual assets inside the GFX? I'm working on a script to automate patching a GFX from the game Hitman: World of Assassination. I need to automate rawediting of certain frames of sprites(color transform) and removing/adding frames as needed. I can export as html, but it's storing the image data as pngs.
How about XML export/import of the whole SWF, would that help?
Yes, that would be awesome! Thank you! BTW, I wanted to say I really appreciate this software, I've used it about 5 years now, excellent piece of software!
Thanks for the compliments. To the XML: I mean, there already is XML export/import for the whole SWF supported. There is nothing new to implement. So this will suit your example, is that right? Or maybe I misunderstood your feature request(?).
Hi, yes I figured out what you mean. Sorry, was a bit too early for me, haha. I was able to use it and it works, except for re-importing. If I change a colortransform value, say (GreenAddTerm="200" to GreenAddTerm="255") I get a error and it leaves the data empty upon being imported back to the GFX. Here is the error log, I'm attaching of zip of the GFX Working directory with the gfx and xml in base condition, to reproduce you can just mass replace GreenAddTerm="200" to GreenAddTerm="255" in the xml then try to run xml2swf.

It seems to me like you replaced the attribute name with the name with uppercase first letter, but the attributes are case sensitive, so "GreenAddTerm" is wrong, it should stay "greenAddTerm". Am I correct?

Ah, you are correct, my mistake. I corrected that and it worked. Sorry for wasting your time! Have a pleasant day!
