#418 FFDec can't deobfuscate some tricks used in SecureSWF 4.5

Please, look at the attached files (I attached both secured and original files for your reference). I see "//Unsupported by decompiler:Empty stack;" in as2 file. And I see /* * Decompilation error * Code may be obfuscated * Error type: ExecutionException */ in as3 file.

Addition - as2 file deobfuscates fine with Automatic deobfuscation enabled. AS3 file still not deobfuscating.

Any news on it?

As I already said in other deobfuscation issues: There are many issues about obfuscated code. Deobfuscation technics used in FFDec are not the best ones. There is no perfect solution. It takes a lot time to investigate where the problem lies and unfortunately I am no longer in a mood for fixing this. If I change something about deobfuscation, other part stops working, over and over again... I am sorry, but I give this low priority :-(.

@focus : ffdec 1.5.2 can decompile it (the AS3 file). It's very dirty, but it is able to produce some code, if the problem is still relevant.
user
Thanks, I already solved it, and I hope someday JPEXS will implement better deobfuscation in new FFDec versions.
user
BTW, as2 decompiles fine in 4.0.5, thanks for that.
admin
I think it's pretty usable in current version (8.0).
