it would be nice if there was a standard interface that uses the system controls instead of the ribbon interface, so that the application behaves nicely under other operating system other than windows
Implmented. Some features are not available in classic interface (for example recent opened files) You can switch it in advanced settings, with useRibbonInterface setting value.
