> What steps will reproduce the problem?
1) I can edit, at the first time, all scripts (P-code).
2) Save script
3) Save swf
4) to test the script, I play the swf with external viewer
5) push button "edit" the script, then, impossible to edit it !
> What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The cursor is blinking but impossible to print any letter. Also, impossible to cut, paste,
etc.
> What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
JPEXS 4.0.5 - Windows 7

if neccessary. If you do not want to publish files YOU CAN CHANGE VISIBILITY TO PRIVATE
I have tested with some swf files. You can test with attached bellow.
Also, I must reload swf file to edit P-code script.
frcf3.swf (9,193 KiB)
I can't reproduce the problem. Please could you try the latest nightly build?
Of course ! I use the build 345 of v4.0.5 !
In the 5th step, the Edit button is displayed and clickable. Then, other buttons are
displayed : "Save" and "Cancel". But, impossible to change the source code !! The cursor
blinks but unable to edit P-code...
I don't know why.
This problem is occured only after playing swf file (when I clik on the root of the tree,
or when I choose to run a sub-swf as frame).
OK, I have tryed to test with build 346 but it's the same problem.
I still can't reproduce it. Please check the attached video.
Animation 2014-12-17 10_02_15.avi (13,448 KiB)
Maybe this is the same issue as #577
MAybe it is wrong only on some computers.. please could you test it on a diffrent machine?
I think I found the problem.
You missed an important step:
4.5: click on the swf
Probably this is the same issue which was reported by me: #736
I can't find any solution for this problem, I tried every possible way to set the focus
back to FFDec, unsuccessful.
But there is a workaround: press ALT-Tab twice.
Can you confirm that this is the same issue? Can you write text after switching to another
program, and swhitching back to FFDec?
About your video : In fact, we play the swf file, and click on buttons. Then it's
impossible to re-edit the code.
About #577 : Not te same problem.
About #736 : Yes ! when I push twice ALT+TAB, then it's possible to modify the P-Code.
It's the solution.
If possible, I will attempt to use ffdec on other computer (with XP pro)...
I don't want to waste my time on fixing external flash player playback anymore.
I am closing this.
