#1012 Downloaded lastest version it says cannot read swf file. The file has not got the SWF extension (.swf) in its name

Nightly build is the latest "unstable" build. You can download it from this url: /www.free-decompiler.com/flash/nightly/ This bug is fixed in the latest nightly build. You can try, or you can wait for the next stable version.
