Hi, I'm new here. What I like about this program is that it's really lightweight.
The main thing I'd like is the ability to drag and drop .sol files (unless it already
exists and I haven't noticed).
Apart from that, I'd like settings to be applied without exiting the program and the
ability to use the system file picker instead of the program's.
And then a new, more modern style (like acrylic, for example), including icons (these are
in a separate setting for compatibility).
right, an internal downloader for updates
GitHub commit - feat: allow drag and drop sol files into sol editor (#2693)
GitHub commit - feat: add option to use system file dialogs instead of swing (#2693)
Upcoming nightly version: 3567
Nightly version 3567 released.
Hi,
In nightly 3567:
1) You can drag drop SOL files into SOL editor
2) You can set "Use native file dialogs" in Advanced settings for system file pickers
Others:
3) Most settings are already applied without exiting the program, the info message is
displayed everytime, no matter the restart is needed or not.
4) Modern style - I can include some Java Look and Feels, but I surely won't change the
iconset. It took me a lot of time to find icons for every feature and its menu item, I
can't imagine I will search others.
5) Downloader for updates - I don't want to do any downloader since many of antivirus
software tend to mark these as suspicious.
Also:
6) When creating issue, please make only 1 feature request/bug report per issue. Create
one issue per suggestion, otherwise I can get lost easily.
